my grandson ging to college at stockton in south jersey had his car locked up & would not move-- i had it towed to pep boys down there--they said it was his transmission and would have it towed to a transmission place down there--i had it towed to lee myles in hazlet --jim informed me it was his right front axcel it was under warrenty at firestone he saved me a ton of money i am now bringing my saturn vue to him for trannie work noing he will do the right thing


Dear Sir or Madam. Recently my Toyota Sienna 4 wheel drive Van was not running right. The check engine light came on and some ugly noises were coming from the rear of the vehicle. Not knowing anything about fixing cars, a friend of mine and mechanic himself strongly advised me to 3244 route 35 Hazlet NJ a Lee Myles transmission shop. My friend is very talented but doesn't have a shop. I was fortunate enough to speak to then meet a gentlemen named "JIM". Either manager/owner or both. From the first 5 minutes I spoke to Jim, I had a good feeling about him. We all have been ripped off over the years by some really dishonest mechanics. (NOT JIM). Jim put me at ease right away. After examining the van and finding the problem, Jim called me back right away and went over every possible option. Mainly too save me money and not break the bank!. It turns out Jim in fact was completely honest, and correct about the vans problem . The vans rear wheels on the 4 wheel drive vehicle ( I cant think of the exact name)was the problem. Based On Jims great service and after talking to my friend the mechanic, he stated not only did Jim correct my problem he saved me lots of money when I showed him the bill. My friend couldn't get over it. For this Jim now has a customer for life. Between my wife and kids all of our cars will now be brought to Lee Myles Jims place 3244 route 35 Hazlet NJ. I will highly recommend my friends and family members to Lee Myles. Wherever I am and break down, and can't get it to Jims Lee Myles, I will insist it's brought to any nearby Lee Myles shop. I can say all I had was honest service and fair pricing. It is tough to find a repair shop that you can trust. I have had problems at other places, but never here.


Friendly, knowledgable, professional, fast, and seemingly very honest. I brought my dad to get his brakes checked. The owner/mechanic was quick to share the option he would take if his car was being worked on (choosing an aftermarket brake pad over the dealer pad). --I've never even been given the option before.Next, he called us out to take a look under the raised car. There was terrible rust everywhere. For the six years my dad owned his car (bought new from a dealer), no mechanic had ever mentioned the rust. The owner/mechanic said it is probably from sitting in salt water!He then recommended getting a new car because things will start going bad soon. This would potentially mean less repair work for him. I can't imagine he'd let us know about this unless he was just a very honest businessman. I highly recommend giving this place a shot.
